For the second season running, ARSENAL lost out to Manchester City in the Premier League title race. This time things were a lot closer, with the Gunners in the battle until the final day, missing out by two points. But, while there was disappointment, there was also many reasons for Arsenal to be optimistic.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, will be hoping they can build on a decent first season under Andoni Iraola. The Cherries finished 12th in the table last season, just one point outside the top half and 22 above the relegation zone. It wasn’t a perfect campaign for Bournemouth, who had a goal difference of -13 and lost more games than they won, but there are signs for optimism.
